Marco holds a graduate degree in Management and currently works for a primary Swiss commodity broker in Zurich.
He first tasted Teff during his trip to Ethiopia where he went to visit his father working as pediatrician in the country side of Addis Ababa.
After getting in touch with farming experts in Ethiopia and Europe and with international nutrition experts, he co-founded Aksum in order to be the first to bring Teff into the Italian food market.
Matteo is graduated in Finance and worked first in a consultancy firm with focus on financial services and now he is a senior manager in Hong Kong for a multinational insurer.
Matteo was in Ethiopia with Marco and he is founding partner of Aksum. He also has a front role in distributing Teff and Quinoa in the Asian fast-growing food industry.
Umberto is an entrepreneur and sale expert with more than 30 years on the field in the packaging industry.
He was from the beginning enthusiastic about the launch of Teff into the Italian market and decided to be part of Aksum’s team and share his experience in this challenging attempt.
